Liberty Aviation Museum is located on the Port Clinton airport in Port Clinton, Ohio (KPCW). The museum is home to “Martha Jean”, a flying B-25J. During the winter and spring of 2011/2012 the bomber is undergoing a refurbishment in California and will come home with a new name and paint. Located on the southeast side of the airport the new hangar will house the museum and aircraft along with the “Tin Goose Cafe”. The museum will also be home to a Ford Trimotor project being restored by the EAA “Tin Goose” Chapter 1247. The new facilities are slated to open in July of 2012.
