The Wood Formula Vee SL-1 (sn#001) was built at Luke Air Force base, Arizona in 1973. It raced in the Formula Vee class under race number 31. At one time it was know as "Firefly" in it's yellow and black color scheme.
Currently, the racer is awaiting restoration.
